Replacing Alcatel with Ubiquiti

Assisted in the network infrastructure migration at a campus-style facility, leading the replacement of Alcatel switches with Ubiquiti switches. This initiative encompassed comprehensive site assessments, hardware procurement, configuration of VLANs, and PoE considerations, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize operational disruptions. The upgrade delivered improved reliability and centralized cloud-based management, enhancing overall connectivity for over 500 users and supporting future scalability.

Building Customer Failover

Contributed to the build-out of a customer failover location within a reliable datacenter, utilizing dedicated rack space to create an effective redundancy setup for MSP clients. This project included thorough site planning, procurement and installation of servers, networking gear, and power systems, as well as configuration of backup processes, data replication, and VPN access for replicated environments. The solution empowered clients to maintain business continuity by securely backing up their systems and quickly spinning up mirrored setups during disruptions.
